The album was meant to be a single, then the world was thrown into chaos and the unfolding events became the inspiration for a bigger project. One thing became crystal clear to us as the tracks developed, the driving force behind the construction of the music was bible prophecy.
We wanted the album to sound different, so with this in mind we experimented with different sounds, making use of dissonance in the music to try and create uneasiness, depicting the dark times that we live in. Old school guitar licks and creative drum chops added a bit of spice into the mix.
The main drive of the album was to highlight current events happening in the UK and around the world today, and to show that these events were actually prophesied thousands of years ago in the bible. It’s kinda crazy, but its all there, anyone can access the information its truly amazing. There’s so much that goes down at the end of the age in the bible text, looking at the pandemic, lawlessness, even Israel back in their own land its like, this is it! The people world is heading toward a living nightmare. So with this in mind, bible scripture had to be the backbone of the lyrics, particularly in the protest songs, we are sounding the alarm!
Some people have voiced the opinion over the years, that music should never be political. We disagree, music has always been a way to shout about injustice. Music should voice opinion, protest, enrage and engage using freedom of speech, ha! If thats what you can call it these days.
If you listen closely to the lyrics, there is an general theme, a message. Ancient prophets saw clearly the events that would take place at the end of mankind’s sinful dominion. They wrote them down, they spoke by Yahs spirit. The ultimate Judgement of God is coming its so close, maybe even in our generation, it’s almost in plain sight, so definitely worth singing about!
“Just before you Go!” is a warning. “These are the last days the revelation of John”… and once you know this, you got to get right with the Righteous Judge. Because for every person who has ever lived, there has been a choice. Eternal life with Yeshua Hamashiach or eternal punishment with Satan in the lake of fire. However, there’s an important condition that underpins the choice. The choice can only be made by the living.
